This two-day, 6-hour webinar course begins with an introduction to olive oil tasting and progresses to quality assessment and detecting defects.
You will watch two real-time video stream presentations by NYIOOC Panel Leader Carola Dummer Medina while tasting 24 samples that are delivered to you before the course. For more information on how webinars work, see our Help Center.
Participants ask questions via a chat section next to the video player. Only the instructor is seen and heard. You will not use your own device's camera or microphone.
If you cannot join the lesson at the scheduled time, a recording will remain on the course page, which you can view at your convenience. Instructors will remain available to answer questions in the chat room for one week beyond the live lesson.
After the lesson, you can complete an assessment if you wish to receive a certificate for the course.
